About NitroInfusions

NitroInfusions of Old Town, La Quinta, C.A., was founded many years ago in 2014.

Here at NitroInfusions we wanted to serve organic, fresh ice cream from family recipes but didn't want the typical "scoop and serve" style. We started researching and found a chemistry teacher on YouTube who was teaching students how to make ice cream using Liquid Nitrogen — what a great idea!!

So we started finding our ingredients, experimenting using the Liquid Nitrogen and found by using this method our ice cream was supreme...

Why do we use Liquid nitrogen (-321°)? Because this allows us to freeze ice cream to order, creating less ice particles and no air which results in a smoother, creamier ice cream. The base of our ice cream is 100% Organic with no preservatives, no additives and we use local fresh ingredients to create our flavors.

Liquid nitrogen is extremely cold — about –321°F — which lets us freeze our ice cream base almost instantly. When something freezes slowly, the water inside forms large ice crystals, which makes ice cream feel icy or grainy. But when it freezes fast, the crystals stay tiny, giving a smooth, creamy texture.

Because liquid nitrogen evaporates the moment it touches the warmer ice cream base, it never becomes part of the food. It's simply a super-cold tool that removes heat very quickly.

Fast freezing also means the ice cream doesn't trap a lot of air, so the final product is denser and richer than traditional ice cream. Since we use an organic base with no preservatives or additives, the quick-freeze process helps lock in the natural flavors from our fresh ingredients.

The result is ice cream that tastes cleaner, smoother, and more intense — because you're getting pure ingredients frozen at the perfect moment.
